I've taken a small break from the world of sudoku but I'm back with a special puzzle.
This is a puzzle I set for the CTC Secret Santa back in December 2024, I hope you all enjoy :)! You must help the Knights of the Round table (who dance when they are able) find the holy grail! Draw their path, a line that travels orthogonally through the centre of some cells. This path must start with the knights (crown) and end at the grail (cup in box 9).

This path cannot re-enter a cell that is already on the path.

On their journey, the Brave knights face many difficulties and must be conquered in this order:

• They must NOT enter Camelot (cell marked with a castle) as it is a silly place.
  
• They collect a shrubbery, (R1C1) to appease the Knights who say Ni. Upon delivery (and small accounts of verbal abuse) the company are granted passage through the forest (trees in row 2) as such, both trees must be adjacent to each other on the line.
  
• Next, they meet Tim the Enchanter (wizard in box 3) who will help them on their quest. (The path must go through this square)
  
• Unfortunately, there is a deadly beast blocking their path! Help the knights battle the Rabbit of Caerbannog (R5C5). The beast is defeated if the value of the digit on the rabbit lies between the two digits either side on the line.
  
• The knights now must reach the holy grail, but tread carefully, there are police investigating a murder, make sure that the line does not enter a cell occupied by police.
  

In the grid there is an insurmountable river, the only way for the knights to cross is to use the bridges (Kropki-dots) marked. (You may not cross at R9C2, R5C9 for example). Box borders divide the river into segments that all sum to the same total (region sum line).

The path must pass through every Kropki-dot.

The path must not share any cell that is part of a renban line.

The start and end point for the line must be the same digit.

While on their journey, the knights must collect the 6 swallows scattered around the grid. On each swallow, the digit marks the distance along the line to the next swallow, with the only exception being the last swallow visited.

Every digit between 1 and 9 must be present on a symbol at least once.
