About:

This puzzle was created for isajo4002's imposter contest, in which each setter was assigned another setter to impersonate. Participants were then challenged to guess who set each puzzle and which other setter they were impersonating.

I was assigned with impersonating The Book Wyrm
This is the puzzle I set, attempting to imitate The Book Wyrm's style.


Rules:

U-Bahn:

• Draw a connected loop network through the centers of some cells, which may branch or turn, but may not have any dead ends.
• Clues to the left and above the grid indicates how many times the corresponding line shape (i.e. a cross, branch, straight line, or turn) appears in the corresponding row or column, irrespective of the line shape's rotation.
• The U-bahn network cannot enter cells which contain trees.

Landvermessung:

• A clue in the centre of 4 cells gives the number of cells in the smallest possible loop which:
• 1. Visits all those surrounding cells which are part of the network.
• 2. Only uses segments from the network.
• 3. Doesn't cross or overlap itself.
• An infinity symbol, ∞, means that there is no such loop possible (but at least one of the surrounding cells must be part of the loop network).

Doppelganger:

• The clues above and to the left of the U-bahn region, contain two separate 4x4 doppelganger grids (each with four 2x2 boxes).
• The digits in these regions are valid U-bahn clues, but must also obey the doppelganger rules.
• Every row, column, and box in a doppelganger grid contains the digit 0 always, as well as three out of the four digits from 1 to 4.
  (ie, it's missing one digit that is not 0)
• No two rows, no two columns, and no two boxes may be missing the same digit
• For each 0 in the grid, the digits missing in its row, its column, and its box must be three different digits.
• Each doppelganger grid has three corresponding auxiliary grids which must be filled in with the digits that are missing from the corresponding row/column/region.
• The auxiliary grids and doppelganger grids are marked with an A or B in the upper left corner to indicate which grids go together.

Coordinate Arrows:

• Digits on an arrow spell out the coordinates (in the corresponding doppelganger grid) for the digit that is their sum.
• The row number is written on the start of the arrow, the column number is written on the arrow tip.
• All the arrows for a given doppelganger grid must correspond to different coordinates.
• Digits may repeat on an arrow if allowed by other rules.
• 0 may not appear on an arrow.
• The coordinate arrows in auxiliary grids reference the doppelganger grid to which the auxiliary grid belongs
• The coordinate arrows in the U-bahn clued areas reference the doppelganger grid within the same clue area.

Odd Circles:

• Digits in a grey circle must be odd.
