Skygangers
(Eingestellt am 26. Juli 2025, 02:42 Uhr von bodemeister)
This puzzle combines the doppelganger and skyscraper rulesets by using most of the doppelganger tracking cells to also be skyscraper clues, hence the 'word' skyganger. Special thanks to
Wullemuus,
earthpuzzles, and
sanabas for testing this puzzle, and especially
Kafkapharnaum, who tested a beastly first version of this puzzle and whose
Atlantis puzzle inspired this creation.
Rules:
- Doppelganger:
- Each row, column, and 3x3 box contains the digit 0 and eight of the nine digits from 1-9 (i.e. it's missing one digit that's not 0).
- Any two rows, any two columns, and any two boxes must be missing different digits.
- For each 0 in the grid, the digits missing in its row, column, and box must be three different digits.
- Skygangers:
- Nonzero digits in the main grid represent skyscrapers whose height equals the value of the digit.
- Digits in circled cells are skyganger clues, whose value is the missing digit in the corresponding row/column and whose value is also the number of skyscrapers visible in the corrsponding row/column of the main grid.
- Taller buildings block the view of all shorter buildings behind it, and digit 0 represents the absence of a skyscraper and thus never counts towards the skyscraper total.
- The set of circled cells contains each of the digits 1-8 at least once with digit 8 appearing twice.

Great mix of constraints and some interesting logic.
