Hi, today there are 2 version of the same puzzle - a hard version and an easer version with more clues.
Both puzzles are based around the rule that "Any two cells that are separated by a Chess Knights move and are in the same region must contain consecutive digits"
Full rules are included in the SudokuPad links
Hard Version in SudokuPad : Answer check is enabled (probably 3 stars for difficulty)
Easier Version in SudokuPad : Answer check is enabled (probably 1-2 stars for difficulty)
Solution code: Row 8

I didn't really understand this ruleset until I did the hard version, the easy version didn't do it justice. both were fun to do.
RailMan: Thanks! The easier version is aimed at people who are less experienced or short on time. For experienced solvers I would recommend the harder puzzle.

My solution code worked and as far as I can tell, my solution doesn't have any mistakes, but the solution checker says I missed something.
Unless I did, in fact, miss something, I don't think the hard version is any more than a 2*. I usually can't solve a 3* but I solved this one in about 20 minutes. Good puzzle. Different dynamic than most.
RailMan: The solution checker works properly. Did you check the Kropki dot rule carefully? It is possible to make a mistake with this rule and still get the correct solution code.
EDIT: It was my mistake. I didn't notice that I had already gotten my 2 consecutive digits and was trying to finish it out with exactly 2 more, so I got a solution with 4 dots. Just swapped the last 4 digits I entered and it worked. Thanks.

Nice puzzle :)
Just cosmetics - in the ruleset on CTC to write - place digits 1-8 instead of 1-6.
RailMan: Thanks, it should have said 1-8.
