Yin Yang Dominoes
This is my first Yin Yang Puzzle, please let me know what you think in the comments. I'm not too sure how to rate this one. I'm tentatively putting it at somewhere between 2-3*
Rules:
Normal Sudoku Rules: Place the digits 1-9 in every row, column and 3x3 box
Killer: Digits in a cage must not repeat and sum to the number in the top left corner (if given)
Yin Yang: Shade some cells such that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected and all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected. No 2x2 area can be entirely shaded or unshaded.
Kropki: Digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio
Shading: All cages have 1 shaded cell and 1 unshaded cell. The largest digit in a cage is always shaded and the smallest digit is always unshaded. ALL 3 GIVEN DIGITS ARE OF THE SAME SHADING

Delightful puzzle. If you understand the rules of Yin Yang, this is on the more approachable end.
Really enjoyed a unique deduction in column 4 that I had not seen before.

every yy puzzle is automatically level 3, just by the nature of the ruleset, UNLESS you load it up with givens or something.
then you assess the general difficulty of making progress, and THIS puzzle qualifies for an extra half level.
in other words, this is a "for experts only" puzzle.
HOWEVER, the main yy procedures can be taught to any beginner in 5 min, and the WHY of it can be explained in 15 min, so if we assume that all solvers WILL know the techniques, then we can reduce the PRACTICAL difficulty by one level.
for completeness, these are the techniques.
1) there will be exactly 0 or 2 colour transitions on the edges.
2) no chessboard pattern is allowed in any quad.
and a derived result, very useful here:
3) AT LEAST TWO of the edges have zero transitions.
so if you know these techniques, you can zip along here for quite a distance before you have to do the disambiguation, which is a bit tricky to spot.

If one knows a certain trick then this will turn out to be a rather smooth solve. Very fun experience overall x)
