Rules
Standard Sudoku rules apply.
Each 3x3 region contains one black circle.
1. ◯ Black Circles: Digits across black circles are unique and non-consecutive along the entire line (regardless of line color).
2. ◯ Red Circles: Digits differ by at least 3 from the black circle in the same 3x3 region.
3. ◯ Green Circles: Digits differ by at least 5 from the black circle in the same 3x3 region.
4. ◯ Orange Circles: Numbers in orange circles between cells indicate the sum of the digits in the cells the circle overlaps.
5. ▬ Black Lines: Digits along black lines, including those in circles, are non-consecutive.
6. ▬ Purple Lines: Digits in cells or circles connected by purple lines (full or partial) are consecutive.
For the avoidance of doubt, the purple line only traverses 5 cells in the grid.

Background - Story
The ancient map fluttered in Captain Mira's hands as desert winds threatened to tear it away. Three years of searching for the Lost City had led to this—nine territories stretched across a cursed wasteland, each one guarded by towering black sentinels that pulsed with otherworldly light.Her crew whispered nervous prayers as they studied the path ahead. Scattered across the territories were mysterious waypoints: hostile red beacons that burned unwary travelers, healing green sanctuaries hidden in dangerous places, and strange orange convergence points where multiple paths crossed.
Two types of roads connected the territories—treacherous shadow roads carved from black stone where travelers disappeared if they lingered too long, and a single shimmering purple trail that seemed to guide those who understood its rhythm.
As they entered the first territory, Mira felt the weight of ancient forces watching them. The sentinels were more than mere towers—they were guardians of some cosmic order, and every step had to be chosen carefully or risk awakening their wrath.
Days blurred together as her expedition navigated between the waypoints, following patterns that revealed themselves only at the moment of decision. Each territory brought new challenges, new mysteries to unravel.
When they finally saw the Lost City gleaming on the horizon, Mira realized the truth. The journey itself had changed them—not through treasure or glory, but through the discipline of finding perfect order in a chaotic world.
Behind them stretched a route that others would follow, a path carved not just through the wasteland, but through the very heart of mystery itself.

Very nice, but it appears that the rules introduce more redundancy than likely aimed for. Rated this a 2*

very enjoyable puzzle, but I think it is closer to a 2 star rather than 4.
