Palindromes: Grey lines are palindromes and must read the same from both ends.
Paired Knights: Every cell in the puzzle must be a Chess Knights move away from at least one other cell with the same digit.

Took me a long time to understand why the author is aliasing the rows and the boxes. How else are you going to construct a Normal 7x7? Aliasing columns and boxes is the other side of the same coin.
RailMan: Thank you for your comments. I agree the 'bold outlined boxes' was unnecessary and confusing in the rules. I will try to make it clearer next time.

Am I missing something here? I don't see any 'bold outlined regions'. Is it therefore just 1-7 in each row and column?
