I've Had The Time Of My Life

(Published on 6. July 2025, 05:00 by Will Power)

Normal Sudoku rules apply. THERMOMETERS- Numbers on thermometers increase from the bulb end. ARROWS- Numbers on arrows sum to the number in the arrow's circle. Numbers may repeat on arrows, if other rules allow. KROPKI PAIRS- Numbers with a white dot between them are consecutive. Not all possible dots are shown. EQUAL SUM KILLER CAGES(+)- The sum of the numbers in each cage are the same. Also, numbers in cages increase from top to bottom. HINT: For an easier solve, the sum of each cage is the two digit number formed by the two cells in the bottom right corner of the puzzle, read from left to right.

Modified the hint to synchronize wording with the equal sum killer cage rule.

I believe Yarglof meant "HINT: For an easier solve, the sum of all cages is..." is the part that makes it seem like it gives the sum of all the cages added together. (Especially because you used "each" in the previous rule, yet "all" in the hint, making it seem like they do indeed mean different things.)
Note: They said the "hint" is what makes it confusing. Not the previous rule you quoted in your reply to them.

Maybe reword it to "For an easier solve, the sum of EACH cage is...", since as you say yourself, the "each" is what makes it clear.

Your hint made my solve harder than it needed to be, it reads like it's the combined sum of all the cages.

@Yarglof "The sum of the numbers in EACH CAGE" means separate, not together. All cages have the same sum as other cages. Sorry if this is confusing, particularly if English is not your first language. -Will Power
