The 2025 Tour de France sets off today (Saturday), and this puzzle is my tribute to the grand départ.
Grab your helmet, settle into the saddle, and enjoy the ride!
Special thanks to Flinty for test-solving and helping refine the puzzle’s aesthetics. And a big shoutout to Phil the Hat - his line tool made those curvy lines possible.

Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 to 9 in each Row, Column, and 3X3 box.
Stage Rules:
Each line in the grid represents the path of a different rider. Riders earn 1 point for every odd digit on their path.
Digit in a cell with a rider indicates the amount of points earned by that rider. The Red rider (R4C5) doesn't share a cell with its line.
Stage Results:
The Yellow rider scored more than the Green rider, who scored more than the Red rider, who scored more than the Teal rider.
Dutch Whisper: Two cells connected by a Yellow line must have a difference of at least 4.
German Whisper: Two cells connected by a Green line must have a difference of at least 5.
Parity Line: Adjacent digits along the Red line have a different odd/even parity.
Modular Line: Any set of three sequential cells along a dashed teal modular line contains one digit from (1,4,7), (2,5,8), and (3,6,9).
Lösungscode: Row 1 digits from left to right.

Great ride! I really liked how the rider values were used along with the variety of constraints. Only problem for me was the riders themselves don't show on sudokupad--at least in android Firefox. No biggie, I lettered the spots until solving them.
