Skystaplers

(Published on 1. July 2025, 15:59 by ChinStrap)

Another escape the grid with a single line shape, no givens or extra furniture, kind of a followup to Dutch Angles. I hope you all enjoy!

Note: Some people with Dutch Angles reported issues with old browsers showing the white outlines on top of the lines themselves, so I removed the white outlines from Dutch Angles. I think I have fixed this particular problem now by basically redrawing the whole grid in cosmetic lines, but if there are still problems please leave a comment to that point and try this version instead.

Rules:

  • Normal sudoku rules apply.
  • Skyscrapers: All outside cells on a clue must contain a digit. That digit counts how many digits are 'seen' looking into the grid in the row/column. Digits are visible when they are larger than all digits before them.
  • Entropic Lines: Any three adjacent digits along a peach line must contain one low digit (1, 2, or 3), one medium digit (4, 5, or 6) and one high digit (7, 8, or 9).

All feedback (positive or critical) appreciated!

Solution code: Row 4 of the grid (no outside clues), left to right (9 digits)
