The first solve was 3 star and low rating in my mind. I solved it again after seeing the heavy lifting disjoint does - and it became 2 star high rating.

"why the low rating ?" ... a possible reason
let's look at some facts.
1) NicoD IS a first-rate setter, so the "low" rating IS unreasonable.
2) the difficulty ratings on this site are unrealistically low, maybe 10% (?) of the time.
imo, difficulty 2 SHOULD mean "beginners can do this, but it will be hard".
myself, intermediate, can do nothing at all beyond goodliffing the thermos. THEREFORE, it's level 3.
so, is there a CORRELATION between the simultaneous low difficulty and quality ratings? maybe, maybe not.
more research needed. send money.
