3 stars for me. A really thorough work on GW pairs is needed in order to solve without bifurcation

wow.
well, it's definitely an "experts only" puzzle, i.e difficulty 3.
myself, i could do nothing before spending half an hour bifurcating to find the pressure points; i never would have found them in a million years otherwise.
so, if you need a hint (or 3):
1) study box 9 VERY carefully.
2) now study box 6 very carefully.
3) now study row 6.
4) now consider the box 5 kropki dot.
now, if you have done the basic work (step 0), the rest is easy enough that an intern can do it.

Had some trouble before placing the first digit! Enjoyed!

At first glance, it boggles the mind that this is solvable. Then once one gets into it, it flows so nicely so as to seem almost easy (not really easy, but you get the point!). Incredible setting. I am always so impressed by the setters on this site.
