Normal sudoku rules apply.
Digits may not repeat on either the positive or the negative diagonals--marked by a thin blue line.
Limitations: Digits may not repeat in any cages or any thermometers, or on same colored lines (rules 1-6 below).
1. Digits in a cage sum to the given value.
2. Digits on a thermometer increase from the bulb to the tip.
3. Digits on a purple Renban rectangle are a set of consecutive digits in any order.
4. Box borders divide blue region sum lines into segments. Digits along one segment sum to the same sum as the other segment. Different lines may have different segment sums.
5. Adjacent digits on a green German Whisper line must have a difference of five or more.
6. Along a teal line, there must be one digit from each modular set (147, 258, 369).
The grid is partially covered in fog. Placing a correct digit, in a foggy or cleared cell, may clear more fog somewhere in the grid.

I got tripped up on the thermos and broke the puzzle so many times, but I'm so glad I stuck with it! Very fun solve from beginning to end!

I don't know what the hint is referring to and googling it only appears to bring to CtC videos where the hint is used. Is there any place where said hint is proven and written down?
--another way to look at it: every digit must appear on both diagonals. If there is a digit that doesn't appear on the phistomefel ring, then how does it go on both diagonals?
