Big fish, little fish, 3×3 box…
RULES
- Normal sudoku rules apply. Fill the grid such that the digits 1-9 appear once in every row, column, and 3×3 box.
- Region Sum Lines: Box borders divide blue lines into segments whose digits must have an equal sum. Note: Digits are only counted once within a region, even if the line passes through their cell more than once.
- Renban Lines: Digits along a pink line form a set of non-repeating consecutive numbers in any order.
- Kropki dots: white dots separate cells where digits are consecutive; black dots separate cells where one digit is double the other. Not all dots are shown.

I found it harder than 2 stars. On the top half of 3 stars for me. Surely I missed part of the logic involved as middle game was a little nightmare

Added clarification around region sum lines

I would like a bit of clarification in the ruleset, and that is when an equal sum line crosses itself, should the relevant cell be counted once or twice?

sshrpe: Oh, good shout! I’ll adjust the rules a little for that. The short answer is ‘once’ - it’s the sum of the cells the line touches, not the sum of the ‘path’ of the line. The lines don’t technically need to cross to make the puzzle work, but if they didn’t then they wouldn’t look like fish :-D Hope that helps!
