Another palindrome puzzle because I have a lot of fun setting them. I hope you have as much fun solving it!
Normal sudoku rules apply: fill the grid with digits 1-9 so that none repeat within a row, column or box.
Digits along a thin grey palindrome line must read the same forwards and backwards.
Cells connected by a V sum to 5. ALL Vs ARE GIVEN.
Cells connected by an X sum to 10. Not all Xs are necessarily given.
Cells connected by a white kropki dot have adjacent values.

I had to fully color the grid to solve this, I like it although I don't know what the solution code is or where to find it I'm confused
Ungesundheit replied: when you solve the puzzle on SudokuPad, the message which pops up at the end contains a solution code (it’s a word) that you can enter into the solution code box here in LMD. Also colouring the entire grid was exactly the intended approach, I love colouring puzzles and find them the most satisfying type of puzzle so you did it right :)

Really nice puzzle, thank you! I personally prefer having a SudokuPad code word as solve code rather than having to copy a row of digits.

I agree with using letters rather than colours as these allow you to use corner and centermarks like a normal sudoku, and I also colour the V pairs (and X pairs if relevant) in a puzzle with a negative constraint. I find spotting "two yellows" next to each other easier than B and F which i have to check are a V pair.
This was very nice, lovely palindrome puzzle that was not too hard.

This puzzle has such a high rating for one star and I want to solve it but can’t figure it out. What is the strategy behind coloring this one?

Glumhippo- that is a fair point, I personally prefer it when there is a solution code that’s easier to remember because I usually solve on mobile using SudokuPad, which is why I’ve done it this way here, but I see your point- I suppose people could enter their numbers into SudokuPad to get the code afterwards but that is obviously not ideal! Will consider this next time.
Ganbatte and Martina- I actually set it as a higher difficulty than this but people tend to rate the puzzles based on how difficult it is for them rather than how difficult it would be for anyone, so it has been shifted down. I would suggest starting by thinking about the Vs- there are two possible ways of making 5. You can colour those and use the palindrome lines to see where the same colours recur. (not making this a hidden comment as it is a general strategy for solving these kinds of puzzles and doesn’t give any actual logic away!)

Missed the negative constraints but still made it. Without that it feels like a 2 stars. Very nice puzzle, tq!

@Ganbatte I don't get it either.

For me lettering works better than colouring. Lettered box 5 completely and then solved a lettered sudoku.

I think the solution code should be chosen so it doesn’t depend on SudokuPad. Just an opinion. Some people enjoy solving puzzles on paper or other means. Enjoyed it though!

Love a good coloring puzzle, and palindrome-heavy grids are great for that. This wasn't particularly difficult, but it flowed very well, and it's always nice to select all by color and fill in with the correct large number. Very satisfying.
