Chutes and Rocks

(Published on 11. June 2025, 04:42 by Dogdayboy)

This is my first construction, I hope you enjoy.

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Digits separated by black kropki dots are in a 1:2 ratio. Digits separated by white kropki dots are consecutive. Not all dots have been given.

Digits on rocks (white circles) are the same parity.

A snake will traverse the grid. Starting from its burrow (green circle), the snake moves an even number of cells orthogonally in one direction, then turns. The snake does not revisit any cell it has already visited. For every even number of cells the snake visits, it drops a digit with a difference of 2,4 or 6 from the previous digit dropped (the first dropped digit is on the burrow). The snake cannot visit a cell with a rock. The snake must travel the longest path possible.
