Very nice! I usually skip 1 star puzzles, but this one was really interesting. Thank you

ND: You are welcome, I do not think it is "that" easy!

I'm glad that "it's not 1-6" is really fast to figure out (it tries to put 6 in r1c1 and r1c6), because I definitely skimmed over that bit of the rules on my first attempt.
Wonderful coloring puzzle that still requires you to keep numbers in mind all the way through!

That's what I get for not reading the rules carefully! Spun my wheels for a few minutes before figuring out the digit element. Fun solve from there.
-----
ND: Indeed that is easier with the correct rules. Thanks for solving!

I definitely misread the rules and thought that you were supposed to use any digits 1-9, not choose a subset of 6 digits from 1-9. This tripped me up for ages! But then, once I figured it out, it was smooth sailing, with just enough logic to make it still feel fun!

Ordinarily I just never have the mental energy to solve a "You figure out which digits we used" puzzle, but I was feeling like being cruel to myself, I guess. And then I discovered it had a fairly easy solution that my tired mind could handle! :-D

ND: Congrats on stepping out of your comfort zone!
