Play in Sudokupad
Normal sudoku rules apply.
There are nine red pseudocells, one in each box, row, and column, which form an additional set of the digits 1-9. One pseudocell is given, the rest must be determined by the solver. The value of a pseudocell equals its box number, read left to right and top to bottom.
The values of three consecutive cells along a blue or purple line sum to a multiple of five.
Blue and purple lines are also region sum lines. Box borders divide each colored line into segments. The values on each segment sum to the same number. (Blue and purple may have different sums.)
There is only one blue line. It visits all boxes except box 5.
Lines do not branch or cross themselves or another line.
The grid is mostly covered in fog. Placing correct digits may reveal cells which were previously hidden. No guessing is required.
Lösungscode: Row 9

a superb puzzle! loved the solve path. i agree with VitP though, this is not a 2 (or even 3) star puzzle

absolutely NOT a level 2 puzzle.
for experts only.
there are two variant rules in play here, both of the "blue moon" type. therefore any patterns need to be worked out from scratch. that alone makes the puzzle level 2. but in practice, it's much harder than that.

I’ve always had trouble understanding Mod 5 puzzles when watching sudoku videos, but I decided I’m gonna buckle down and try and understand it today. After solving it in 100:45, your puzzle helped a lot and I feel like I understand now so thank you :)
