Bound by difference

(Published on 17. May 2025, 11:00 by Neb)

  • Normal sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1 to 9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
  • Disjoint Set: Cells in the same relative position in different boxes cannot contain the same digits.
  • Unique Killer Cages: Within a cage, digits don't repeat and they must sum to the small number written in the top left of that cage. Additionally cages with the same total can't contain the same digits.

Beautiful puzzle. I usually avoid disjoint sets because of all the scanning, but this one was totally worth it. So many beautiful deductions.
