Wear The Fox Hat

(Published on 20. May 2025, 19:27 by phil_the)

This puzzle was set for one of Scojo's Setting Saturday prompts where we had to use Modular lines and something involving parity.

Sudoku: Within the main 9x9 grid, each row, column and 3x3 box must contain the digits 1-9 once only.

Parity: Cells outside the grid count the number of digits in that row or column before the first change in parity. For example 135679842 in a row would have a 3 outside on both sides.

Modular Lines: along a green line, no run of three adjacent cells contain digits with the same remainder when divided by 3.

The four black corner cells are not part of the puzzle.
