This puzzle is dedicated to
Scojo, a talented setter, but more importantly a mentor to many puzzle constructors, who has fostered a sense of community that we would not have without him. It uses a modified verion of his "copycat cells" rule.

Normal 6x6 Sudoku rules apply.
CATS - *Exactly one* of the cats is a copycat. The value of the copycat is the digit in the cell rotationally opposite itself in the grid (e.g. a copy cat in r2c3 would have the value of the digit in r5c4). Other cats do absolutely nothing (they just can't be bothered).
LASER POINTERS - A number on a laser pointer is the sum of the values on its laser.
Solution code: Row 1

Loved the puzzle. The explaination felt a bit contradictionairy. it feels like you mean to say there is a negative constraint on the cats (one and only one cat), but on the other hand you mention the other cats do absolutely nothing (can be ignored?)
Love to see antother puzzle with more effect of the cats-rule.

Seems pretty accurate to my experiences with cats.

Pretty fun! It's a little unfortunate how little of an effect the cats have on the puzzle, though that does line up with the average effect a cat has on a daily basis.

Darn lazy cats never wanting to do their copying!
