Why Wing It?

(Published on 9. May 2025, 06:10 by mellowrobinson)

  • Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  • Candidate Cages: Digits in the top left corner of a cage indicate the only possible candidates for that cell. i.e. a cage with a 1234 clue cannot contain 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9.
  • Dynamic fog: Placing correct digits will clear the fog from that cell, and possibly others. No guessing!

Without knowing y-wings, this could be really tough.

Oh, this was a tough nut. I was freaking out thinking I had overlooked some wings, but apparently I just could not do proper sudoku scanning. :)
Anyhow, this was a fun thematic puzzle. Thank you, mellowrobinson!

Wow! I knew of this technique but hadn't really used it. This puzzle is a great way for people to build knowledge of this method. Thanks for putting this together.
