9:24 for me, nice puzzle. I don't get why people are complaining about the 2 star difficulty. Seems even generous imho.

I think it’s a great puzzle, but even after researching and learning about the checkerboard pattern it took me 40 minutes.
For a 6x6, this is easily 2 stars for difficulty in my judgment (but I’m not a particularly good solver).

I swear, some of the ratings on this site bear no connection to reality.
This shows up in 2 ways :
1) A mismatch between the ACTUAL difficulty and the claimed difficulty (and generally misrated by many people). Consider how annoying it is for the SOLVER who is looking for an easy puzzle, tries one that claims to be easy, but finds after wasting half an hour that it's actually brutally hard.
2) A puzzle that is actually decent or good, but gets a low quality rating, which requires the opinion of many people. My attitude on this is, if there are NO DEFECTS, AND the setter has put in a significant amount of effort and creativity to provide a service FOR FREE to the community, then the rating should be > 90%, and you can argue about the remaining 10 points. Anything else is disrespectful to the SETTER.
This applies here.
Are there any defects? No.
I'm not going to write an essay explaining what's good about this puzzle, but briefly, there are about 3 interesting concepts that are demonstrated here in a simple environment.
Rail Man: Thank you for solving the puzzle and I am glad you enjoyed it. I am not worried about the quality rating. A lot of 6x6 anti-knight puzzles (including this one) can be solved fairly easily using the Checkerboard principle without fully understanding how the clues all work together. I think this tends to lower the quality and difficulty rating because some people used a shortcut and found it very easy. Personally, I think the difficulty is 1 star if you use the Checkerboard principle or 2 stars if you work through all the logic.
