In early October 2024 two dear friends of mine, RockOnCT and Starlight, decided to create their first sudoku, and the theme they chose was, obviously, prickly pears.
They recently decided to release it (at my insistence), and here it is, their first puzzle!
The sudoku was created entirely by them, I limited myself to testing it, giving some advice and removing some redundant clues, but without distorting their idea and the composition of the puzzle.
If you like, please comment, share and express your opinion freely. Thanking you in advance, we leave you to the puzzle! Have fun!
Rules
• Normal Sudoku rules apply.
• Renban: Digits placed on purple lines must be a non-repeating set of consecutive digits, in any order.
• German Whispers: Adjacent digits on a green line must have a difference of at least 5.
• Ratio Pairs: Digits separated by a black dot must be in a 2:1 ratio.
Lösungscode: Column 1 (9 digits without spaces).

The dot between r3c5 and r4c5 isn’t showing on sudokupad, which doesn’t affect solving. Fun puzzle.

Thank you for pointing that out, I didn't realize I uploaded an old version of the grid. I'll update it ASAP. Much appreciated!

Very pleasant solve. Not trivially easy, nice aesthetic, good solve path. Very nice! Thanks for sharing.

The puzzle is solved, sudokuapp was happy, but “column1 and column9 without spaces” code was not. I see that there are some solvers, so maybe my data entry is wrong (solving always on the phone).
NB: nice puzzle

Thanks for solving!
I've edited the solution code so it's clear, sorry for the confusion!
