Irregular 6x6 sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 to 6 once in every row, column and bold outlined region.
Thermometers: Digits along a thermometer must strictly increase starting at the bulb end.

Well i guess i must be one of the slow ones as it took me 13:30 to solve. as others have said it's finding the break in. OTOH one of the few puzzles i've solved without checking along the way. ;)
Thanks for solving the puzzle. There is a geometric break in that makes it easy, but the puzzle can still be solved without finding it. RailMan

Lovely stuff. I did not see the trick immediately and had to stumble around for 10 minutes, then the aha moment and it all collapsed.

Fun one! I rated it a 1* difficulty, as I was able to finish in 1:55. If one spots the break-in quickly, it flows very fast after. Thanks for sharing!
