Rules:
  • Normal sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
  • Modular Lines: Every group of 3 cells along a teal line must contain one digit from each modulo 3 group (1, 4, 7), (2, 5, 8), and (3, 6, 9).
  • Odd Lots: A digit in a circle counts the number of odd digits on its line.
  • Even Lots: A digit in a square counts the number of even digits on its line.
  • Little Killer: A clue outside the grid gives the sum of the digits along the indicated diagonal.

Wow this puzzle was wonderful! I really enjoyed the way mod 3 and even odd interacted. I even got to use a double coloring system briefly, which i enjoy when it’s for a good reason. Even the little killer clue, which felt weird at points, ended up contributing to a satisfying solve. This puzzle felt like a sudoku equivalent to oddly satisfying YouTube compilations.

I've got a question regarding the rules. Does there have to be an odd digit in a circle and en even in a square or not? It would make things easier but it's not mentioned in the rules so I assume every digit can be place in circles and squares, is that right?
