Setterdoku - Levels 1-2

Normal 4x4 sudoku rules apply.
Except... You're not the solver, you're the setter!
Cells marked with cages must have the indicated candidates by sudoku. Place some "given" digits into the grid to force these exact candidates. i.e. after placing your given digits, every digit from the cage clue must lead to one or more sudoku solutions, and every digit not listed in the cage clue must not.
For instance, 1 and 2 in the first puzzle must be valid candidates for the top left cell after placing your givens, but 3 and 4 shouldn't be valid candidates.
Level 1

Note: it's recommended to turn the "check on finish" setting off in SudokuPad (it's in the "gameplay" section) to avoid being spoilered about finishing the puzzle (since there are not so many digits to place)
Lösungscode: all given digits of both puzzles, row by row (only digits, no spaces)

Level 2 tricked me for a bit, because I'd made an assumption I shouldn't have. This is cool, kinda makes me want to try setting something... uh, maybe. Seems hard.

There is no way to add more given digits after finding the solution in any puzzle in the series

This is so different.
You might want to underscore that you're looking for the _minimum_ number of givens. Because i could think of some more ways to solve "Level 2" with more digits.
