Fog Ring

Normal Sudoku rules apply.
The negative diagonal must contain the digits 1 to 9 with no repeated digits.
Killer cages, indicated by dotted lines, cannot have repeated digits and the digits in the cage sum to the total if shown in the top-left corner.
Adjacent digits along an orange Dutch Whisper line must differ by at least 4.
Diagonal and Orthogonal cells connected by an X sum to 10. Diagonal and Orthogonal cells connected by a V sum to 5.
Cells joined by a white dot have consecutive digits. Cells joined by a black dot, one digit is double the other.
Not all Xs, Vs or dots are given.
Parts of the board are covered in fog. Placing the correct digits in all the revealed cells will lift more fog and reveal other cells.

Very fun solve! I liked the gradual flow into the Phistomefel ring, the logic was easy to follow but still demanded some clever thinking!

I rated this 1/5 difficulty.
Fun puzzle, and nice sequel to your "Fog Magic" puzzle! I was very happy to see the Phistomefel ring being used, after being "juked out" by the prior puzzle lol. In all seriousness, though, this was a nice execution of the idea.
I liked the use of the ring here, and it led to a nice solve path (using the modified pencilmark/logic rule/constraint). I typically rate puzzles that utilize the phistomefel ring as 2* difficulty, but since this puzzle appears to be completable/solvable without explicitly utilizing it (even though the "rewarding"/straightforward path does utilize the equivalence) - I think 1* difficulty is acceptable here.
The logic overall was nice/approachable, and ended up being an enjoyable puzzle - thanks for sharing!

I don't love that the rules state that you shouldn't enter solved cells in the fog. If the cells shouldn't be entered, they should not be known by the solver.
pagedo: @fishsaltyak - Its not a rule, its a solve experience suggestion.
pagedo: @fishsaltyak - Thanks for your comment. It made me revisit my understanding of the setting of dynamic fog. It forced me to lock the solve to not reveal any unintended cells when digits were placed on fog cells. I removed my suggestions for the solve experience as now the solve path is locked in.

I can confirm that the Dutch whispers are not necessary to the solve. I scrupulously ignored them and had no problems.

No mention of the orange lines in the rules. Didn't use them for the solve, but assume they are Dutch Whisper lines.
@ukjohnd - I do use them in the solve. Thank you for pointing out that the rule was missing. Fixed now.
