Happy 42nd!
This is a puzzle that I created for my step-dad’s 42nd birthday which passed a few days ago. I originally didn’t plan to post this puzzle, but I really enjoyed the logic in this one and am quite proud of how it came out. So here it is!
Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply
Renban: Digits along a purple line must form a non-repeating set of consecutive digits in any order..
Region Sum: Box borders divide blue lines into segments. Separate segments on the same line must have the same sum.
Thermometers: Digits along a thermometer must strictly increase starting from the bulb end.
Solution code: Row 5 (left to right)

Very nice! I had a lot of trouble in the mid-solve, but when I got through that, I had a blast. Thank you and congratulations to your step-dad.
