I've constructed this puzzle after learning about the Recoil pencil puzzle, widely discussed on the Skunkworks server over the past month or so, in occasion of the Turn 5 of The Skunkworks League.
Huge thanks to damasosos92 for his expertise and contribution to the community on many different subjects, and specifically about the Recoil PP from whom I really learned a lot.
(on this matter, check out: Recoil: A Proper Introduction here on LMD).
He also tested this puzzle, so thank you so much for your time!
Thanks to The Book Wyrm and Jenny for testing/making corrections on the puzzle, thus providing a smoother experience for everyone.
Also a BIG thank you to dumediat for helping me get this page up and running :DAnd also thanks to all the wonderful people on the Skunkworks server, a pleasant environment to discuss, learn, grow and create!
Rules
• Normal Sudoku rules apply.
• Recoil: The dotted red cage in the grid defines the Recoil's playing grid.
Starting at the diamond in R5C5, draw a directed path through the centers of some cells. Path segments are drawn sequentially from cell to cell, such that the first path segment is drawn from the diamond to an orthogonally adjacent empty cell, the second segment is drawn from that cell to the next orthogonally adjacent empty cell, and so on until the final segment is drawn and the path ends.
In this puzzle the last cell and the direction of the path is also given (R6C9).
The path cannot branch or revisit a cell it has visited before.
Every time the path enters a new cell, a “recoiled cell” is placed in the first empty cell in the opposite direction. This recoiled cell may skip over gaps, other recoiled cells, or other path cells.
The path cannot enter a cell if its corresponding recoiled cell cannot be placed into the Recoil's playing grid.
All the cells of the playing grid must be visited by the path OR contain a recoiled cell.
• Entropic Line: Any set of three sequential cells along the path must contain a low digit (123), a middle digit (456), and a high digit (789).
Digits may repeat on the path, if allowed by other rules.
• Odd: The grey circle and all recoiled cells contains odd digits.
Solution code: Column 5, top to bottom, 9 digits without spaces.

I feel like I mostly brute-forced the recoil part of the puzzle. But the rest was still pretty interesting. Would love to see a logical walkthrough of that one.

Changed the solution code to something quicker.
