Kropki Skyscrapers
(Eingestellt am 8. April 2025, 09:37 Uhr von Scojo)
These are a pair of similar 4x4 puzzles that explore the idea of skyscraper clues in relation to white and black kropki values between cells, rather than the typical digits within cells.
Rules:
- Normal 4x4 sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1-4 once each in every row, column, and 2x2 box.
- Difference Skyscrapers: The value of a white dot between two digits is equal to the difference between those two digits. Clues outside the grid count how many white dots are 'seen' looking into the grid in the row/ column. White dots are visible when they have a higher value than all white dots before them.
- Ratio Skyscrapers: The value of a black dot between two digits is equal to the result of dividing the larger digit by the smaller digit. Clues outside the grid count how many black dots are 'seen' looking into the grid in the row/ column. Black dots are visible when they have a higher value than all black dots before them.

Oof...
The first one was pretty easy, but the second one took me ages. Finding a working solution wasn't too hard, but proving it's the only one is tricky. Probably the hardest 4x4 I've ever done.
