Loved this! Awesome use of Phistomofel and the deductions flowed nicely once that break in was found.

I rated this 2/5 difficulty.

Really great addition to the series! I really liked the ring equivalence used in the break-in - it was a really clever way to restrict the puzzle!

As mentioned by @RedBarchetta and @VitP, I think that the use of the phistomefel ring equivalence makes a 1* rating a bit misleading. I only ever rate puzzles as 1* if I think a beginner solver (who is at least familiar with the ruleset) would successfully be able to approach & solve the puzzle. I don't think SET tricks like the Phistomefel ring equivalence are "beginner knowledge". The Phistomefel ring may be becoming "common" knowledge here on logicmasters, but it really is an otherwise obscure trick that seems to be a prerequirsite for most puzzles in the series. So as such, I rated it 2*.

It may be possible to solve this without the phistomefel ring equivalence (as I've seen with earlier puzzles in the series) but when looking back, I think that it would be harder than 1* difficulty to do so.

All that being said, once you utilize the equivalence, the puzzle was very approachable and straightforward (and very fun). This is probably my favorite use of the equivalence in the series so far, and it did a really nice job of simplifying the puzzle.

Thanks for sharing!

Another really beautiful puzzle. Thanks a lot. And I totally agree with the others: If you know Phistomephel, it's very easy, otherwise it's hard to find a break-in.

requiring that the solver be familiar with the principles and applications of phistomefel automatically makes this puzzle level 2

Fantastic setting! Without the P-ring I am not sure I could solve this. The logic was great knowing Phistomofel. I love the 2-44's. I'm gonna try this again without using the "Other" secret. Thanks!
