There is exactly one liar in each 3x3 box, thid means one circle that is incorrect. The circles on the box boundaries are not liars.
Solution code: For each row, the column containing the 1, followed by the column containing the 4, with commas and spaces.

Meine Güte, das Rätsel ist ein Aprilscherz. Der Lösungscode gehört dazu.
Und die Kommas und Leerzeichen auch, die werden ja ignoriert. Die schreiben doch dauernd "without commas and spaces", was genauso unsinnig ist.

Der Lügner ist ein Kreis, der nicht dort stehen darf. Er kann die falsche Farbe haben oder es darf dort kein Kreis stehen.

@CHalb: Schön. Es gibt auch einen klaren logischen Weg, von dem man allerdings sehr leicht abkommt.
Das erste ist übrigens vergleichbar schwierig mit dem hier. Das zweite hat nur zwei Löser, ist aber auch viel schwieriger.

Yes, several years ago most people of the German puzzle community would have solved or at least tried it. But it isn't seen in the sudoku flood anymore. And most of them don't use the Rätselportal anymore.
And even if you look for april fools' day pranks you cannot find them easily under so many puzzles. But on PuzzleSquareJP it also has not many solvers. Usually there are much more than 9.
Maybe people try to solve it as a sudoku, but stop it when there is a contradiction and try another one.

How am I still the only one who has solved it?
Come on guys, the joke is not that hard to figure out and the puzzle itself is a genuinely good puzzle and not even that difficult as long as you make sure you understand, remember and correctly use the rules.
My April fools puzzle has barely been solved too by the way.
