Collaboration with Calvinball. Inspired by Trace Amounts by juggler.
Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Dashed lines and small numbers are part of non-overlapping cages that each span exactly 3 cells. Digits in a cage do not repeat, and they sum to the corresponding small number.
Solve online:
Lösungscode: Digits within cages in Row 5 (left to right) followed by digits within cages in Row 9 (left to right)

Very cool puzzle, I enjoyed that! Fun logic while still being quite approachable.

Great puzzle. Thought I'd messed up about halfway through into I thought things through and then flowed beautifully

Gorgeous setting! Thrilling until the very end. And I imagine it must've been a pain to get this to be unique!

Fantastic puzzle! I loved the break-in logic which I found to be a bit easier than the second half of the puzzle. But both halves were equally enjoyable. Thank you for setting and sharing this gem, Nordy and Calvinball!

@marcmees The written rules are all you need, no need to assume an extra one ;)

Smooth and fun, thanks!

May I assume that the sum is not necessarily presented in the most left cell of the most top row or does this rule nevertheless apply as in a normal killer?
—Your assumption is correct. Small numbers may be in any location of their respective cages. -Nordy
