2 8's 1 9

(Published on 17. March 2025, 22:07 by Azure)

This is a easy one I made. Normal sudoku rules apply. Cells that are a chess king and knight away cannot contain the same digit. Orthogonal digits cannot contain consecutive digits. Cells that appear in the same relative position in their 3x3 box must not contain the same number. Play on CTC : https://sudokupad.app/h89dly2c4c

Solution code: Write Row 2 from left to right and Row 8 from left to right without spaces.

It felt like it took me longer to enter the solution code than to solve the puzzle

You don't need the disjoint rule to solve it. The whole thing can be solved with just the 2 chess rules and the consecutive rule. Whole thing was very quick without using disjoint cells.

@lootyloot: Because the miracle happens the very first time only.
Nevertheless, nice puzzle. But the solution code, really?

Once you notice the pattern this can be solved within minutes. Fun puzzle nevertheless
