Back again with another Tentropy line puzzle, that Matt Tressel suggested for our first collab Hyperextension. I hope you enjoy!
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Tentropy Lines: Every set of 4 adjacent digits on a peach line must contain a digit from each of the X-pair (ten-pair) subsets of {1,9}, {2,8}, {3,7}, and {4,6}. A 5 may not appear on a tentropy line. Digits on a line may repeat if allowed by other rules.
- White dots separate consecutive digits. Black dots separate digits where one is double the other. X symbols separate digits that sum to 10. V symbols separate digits that sum to 5.

took 3 days to color. took seconds to solve. will solve these puzzles again.

Had to switch from coloring to letters part way through to keep from getting lost. It became difficult to see where the clues were near the end. Great Fun!

How fun! I ended up using a novel annotation approach which in retrospect may have been a bad idea, but it was certainly interesting nonetheless.
A few times i got entirely stuck and couldn't find new deductions without actually bifurcating briefly to find conflicts. I'm sure there was a better way to deduce the path forward, but i just couldn't find it.
Overall though, very fun and a new and interesting ruleset for me. Thank you!

Loved it, thanks! After a bit of colouring I saw the resolution, but chose to ignore it so I could get a fully coloured grid and a 15-second solve :)

Color mania. Started with colors for the pairs and then used xs and os for high low... what a mess hihi. Great fun thx.

So much buttery goodness in such a simple design. This is a peak example of why I think Tentropy lines have such a bright future.
