Rules:
Sudoku: Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column, and box
Quads: A digit inside of a circle must appear in one of the four cells touching that circle.
Appendix Lines: These are like an index line, but with repeating positions. Along a line, if a digit D appears in a Pth position, starting at the large diamond, then the digit P must appear in a Dth position along the line.
Position counting resets after the 9th space. Small diamonds are placed between the 9th and 10th positions along the line, with arrows pointing at the new position 1.
For example, if a line is 14 cells long, and it contains a 3 in the 7th position, then a 7 must appear in either the 3rd or the 12th position.
No digit may act as indexer for more than one position, so if that same line had a 2 in positions 1 and 10 (both of which are indexed by 1s), then you would need a 1 in positions 2 AND 11.

This is pretty fun! I'm getting walled hard though, so I kinda wish there was an easier puzzle with this rule. Ah well, I got a solid 5 digits and a number of promising-looking patterns before a 20-minute span of absolute nothing, at least.

Loved this. I think difficulty will come from how familiar you are with index lines and how careful you are with notation. Very nice!

Thanks for the feedback regarding difficulty. I figured 4 stars was conservative, but was erring on the side of caution. Happy to re-evaluate to 3 stars. :)

I actually found this fairly easy (~2*), once I truly understood the rules. Very enjoyable 27 minutes though!
