Swirlies

(Published on 11. March 2025, 10:39 by PhoenixAki)

Solution videos to my puzzles are posted on my YouTube channel. Try to solve without referring to it first :) I include this here as an option to increase accessibility to my puzzles. Happy solving!

Rules:
  • Normal sudoku rules apply (place the digits 1-9 once each in each row, column, and 3x3 box).
  • Grey lines are thermometers. Digits must increase as they move away from the bulb.
  • Green lines are German Whisper lines. Adjacent digits on these lines must differ by at least 5.
  • Cells surrounded in dotted-lines are cages. Cells in cages must sum to the total in the top left corner of the cage. Some do not have totals and are only there to contribute to the visual theme.
  • Cells connected by an X must sum to 10.
  • A ^ between 2 cells points to the smaller digit.
Solve on Sudokupad here! Everyone is welcome to solve this on a stream or video, but I would prefer you let me know when such a thing happens so I can check it out (DM me on Discord, same username phoenixaki) :)

Solution code: Row 2 from left to right (9 digits).
