Rules

Normal sudoku rules apply: every row, column and 3x3 box contains a full set of the digits 1 through 9.

Fill the grid with orthogonally connected regions of size 4 (tetrominos), so that there is exactly one cell in every row, column and 3x3 box that is *not* part of any such region. These "gap" cells all contain the same digit, which is known to be odd.

Little tetromino clues indicate the shape of the region a cell is in, and the region's digits must sum to the given total, if specified in the cell's top left corner. Shape clues *can* be rotated and/or flipped to match their regions. Digits do *not* repeat within regions.

Cool ruleset/premise. I got tripped up by the (imaginary) rule that two tetrominoes of the same type couldn't touch (which the rules don't actually say!)

T: Thank you for your comment! Yes, there is no such rule in the puzzle and if it does happen to be the case, it has to be proven in some other way!
