This is a puzzle that I set along with
Wisty
and
Daymocker.
Thanks guys for setting this lovely little puzzle with me!
Rules:
Shade some dominoes of ice on the 9x9 grid. Dominos may not touch each other orthogonally.
Clues inside the grid are never shaded and count the number of dominoes in the direction of the arrow.
Draw a single orthogonal path through the center of some cells. The path leaves the grid at exactly 2 points, once on the upper border, once on the left, and does not continue. The path must touch all numbers in the grid in order from 1 to 3. The path may cross itself on ice cells, but may not turn on ice cells. The path may not otherwise cross itself or branch.
Line clues outside the grid count the number of cells forming that line shape, including rotations.
Ice clues outside the grid count the number of *dominoes* in that row or column.
