Pandora's Box Numbers

(Published on 5. March 2025, 14:37 by Arlo Lipof)

This Sudoku is a tribute to a wonderful puzzle by Stéphane Bura.

Rules:

  • Sudoku. Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  • Box Number Lines. A line in a cell indicates that the cell's digit is the position of its box number in that direction, e.g. if R3C4 is a 7, there is a 2 (the number of this cell's box, see below) in R7C4 (the 7th cell in the column because it's a vertical line).

Brilliant puzzle! For me at least 4* difficulty. Thank you:)

A: Thank you very much! Yes, I concede that the break-in is pretty tough, so maybe a 3,5* rating would be ideal.
