PUZZLE
RULES
Sudoku: Normal Sudoku rules apply; place the digits 1-9 once in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
Ambiguous Lines: All lines are one of two types of Polarity Lines. Each line is of one type in one grid, and the other type in the opposite grid. It is up to the solver to determine the nature of each line in the grid. Note: Different colors are used only to distinguish line intersections.
Polarity Lines: Digits along a polarity line alternate between high {6,7,8,9} and low {1,2,3,4} or prime {2,3,5,7} and composite {4,6,8,9}.
Black Kropki: Cells separated by a black dot have values in a ratio of 1:2.
Disjoint: Cells in the same position on both grids cannot have the same digit, with one exception indicated by a circle.
NOTES
Expected Difficulty: 4 stars
This was set for
Ratfink's Twitch Train for
RoflsALot to solve. RoflsALot generally enjoys twindoku/gemini grids, and I had lamented the missed opportunity after I published my
last one that I didn't title it Party Lines, since during the solve the Polarity and Parity Lines were mixed up a few times. This puzzle has been in my brain since then.
