KROPKI / ANTIKROPKI - Digits separated by a white dot have consecutive values. Digits separated by an X do not.

FRIENDLY PIECES - A digit N on chess piece indicates how many N's occur in other cells the piece could move to in a single move in a game of chess. White is moving up the board, and all standard chess rules apply except that kings may move into check for the purposes of this rule.

BONUS CHESS PUZZLE - After solving the sudoku, place an additional black piece on the board that obeys the friendly pieces rule. White to move and checkmate in N moves, where N is the digit on the newly added piece.
