Bug Zipper

(Published on 3. August 2024, 19:43 by DubiousMobius)

This was my first time playing with zipper lines. I'm pretty happy with how the logic builds on this one. It gets a little hairy, but hopefully is fun to untangle! Thanks to Marty Sears for letting me know about the 'ziffer' line terminology.

Rules:
Place the digits 1-9 in each row, column, and box.

Lavender lines are zipper lines. Digits an equal distance from the end of each line must sum to the middle digit of that line, indicated with a dot.

Mint lines are ziffer lines. Digits an equal distance from the end of each line must have a difference equal to the middle digit of that line.

I really enjoyed this puzzle. Lots of nice deductions to be had between the two types of lines. Thanks for it.
