This is an absolutely amazing puzzle! Took me a while to deduce how the part-puzzles worked, but as soon as i realized it, it was a great combination, while still being challenging! Thanks for making this!

This is one of the most interesting puzzles I have ever played and I will remember it for the rest of my life. The theme—a postmodern novel—is tied to the puzzle thoroughly.

Absolutely insanely good. I don't even fully understand what I just solved lol. What's with the roman numerals? Why do the green grids have tabs on them? Why does IN have ??? in the corner? So many questions, but I had a fabulous time teasing it all out and I can't believe this is a real puzzle with an actual solution! So impressive.

Brilliant puzzle. Very fun, and most of it is pretty easy as well - there's a lot of puzzles to get through, but most of them are very small and resolve easily once you work out the rules - only one or two actually warrant the 3* difficulty rating.
Very intricate, with lots of cool puzzles hidden within. The poem tying it together was very cool (though I feel like I might appreciate that more if I know more about that poem).

So just a note on difficulty if you are thinking about doing this. I gave this 5* because puzzle hunt type puzzles are not my forte. In fact I think this only the 2nd one I've ever done and a few of the puzzles in here really stumped me on figuring out the rules. With that said, once the rule is figured out the puzzles themselves are very easy. So the difficulty revolves almost entirely on how well you think you can figure the rules out.

While I struggled, I did get through it, and I am VERY glad I did. It was incredibly fun to do. So I would recommend giving it a go.

I have ignored this puzzle for a few days, judgein it by how it looks. After I saw it has a high rating I decided to give it a try and I am shocked about your creativity.
There are quite a few different unique ideas that makes this meta puzzle one of the greatest puzzle I have ever solved.
Good job setting this masterpiece, can't wait for the next one.

One Sudoku solving channel I have been watching claims what makes an excellent Sudoku Puzzle is simple to understand rules together with 5* difficult Sudoku techniques needed to solve. In my time zone they encourage you to try doing Sudoku at night.

I can confirm trying your Sudoku at a stupid time of day and looking for the right mathematical equation to solve your Sudoku got me nowhere.

It’s only when I revisited your puzzle in the daytime it opened my eyes to what an actual excellent puzzle looks like.

No complex mathematics or Sudoku technique to solve just with puzzling rules.

You are a true pioneer and genius.

Astonishing! Completely innovative idea, even for Michael's standards. And tying the whole thing together with words of a poem was a masterstroke. It boggles my mind to think how many hours it must have taken to plan this all out (I can imagine a big flow diagram sketched out on paper) and then painstakingly create all the visuals in sudoku maker, and all those little thumbnails of each puzzle too. 99% of setters would not have the patience to do that, even if they had the idea and the know-how. If we were in any doubt what a special talent Michael is, then this is really the proof in the pudding.

What an absolute marvel. Almost more like a point-and-click puzzle game than a normal Sudoku!

keeping track of everything going on in this puzzle made me go a bit pepe silvia... and sometimes was not sure what was a clue and what was just decorative.

I'm a lover of puzzle games, especially ones that force you to learn rules over time, and this really scratched that itch. And the art is amazing as well, hard to believe it was made in a sudoku creator. Massive props for this!
