- Schwärze einige Felder im Gitter, sodass alle ungeschwärzten Felder (das Höhleninnere) orthogonal zusammenhängen und alle geschwärzten Felder (die Wände) orthogonal mit dem Rand des Gitters verbunden sind. Felder mit Hinweisen sind ungeschwärzt. Ein Hinweis gibt die Anzahl an ungeschwärzten Feldern, die waagrecht und senkrecht sichtbar sehen. Dabei behindern geschwärzte Felder die Sicht.
- Jede Wand aus dem Höhlenrätsel sowie das Innere der Höhle gilt als Gebiet für das LITS-Rätsel.
- Platziere ein Tetromino in jedem Gebiet. Keine zwei Tetrominos der gleichen Form dürfen sich eine Kante teilen - Spiegelungen und Drehungen zählen dabei als die gleiche Form. Alle Tetrominos müssen eine einzige zusammenhängende Fläche bilden. Kein 2x2-Quadrat des Gitters darf komplett von Tetrominos bedeckt sein.
Lösungscode: Zeile 7 und Spalte 8: Für jedes Tetromino-Feld den zugehörigen Buchstaben, X für ein Wandfeld und H für ein Feld im Höhleninneren.

I don't understand what the solution code is meant to be. I'm pretty sure I have the puzzle right, so I think that is why I can't get it. Can anyone explain?

You go through row 7 from left to right and then through column 8 top to bottom. If a cell contains an L-tetromino, write L into the solution code. If it contains an I-tetromino write I and the same for T- and S-tetromino. If the cell does not contain a tetromino and is part of the wall write X. If it does not contain a tetromino and is in the cave, write H.
