Rules:

Normal Sudoku rules apply. Variant rules are slightly varied.

Place the digits 1-9 in each row, column, and 3x3 box once each. Digits on an X or V sum to 10 or 5 respectively. White kropki dots separate two consecutive digits. Green lines are German Whisper lines, and consecutive digits on the line must differ by 5 or more.

Purple lines are Renban lines and must contain a set of consecutive digits. Variant - The open Renban lines in boxes 1,3,7,9 MUST contain consecutive digits in order smallest to largest (thermometer renban lines). The Renban line in box 5 may have its consecutive digits in any order.

DISCLAIMER - I test my puzzles multiple times, and I am 99% sure this has only one solution. Happy solving! Also - I would love to see others build out similar puzzles. Eliminate ALL clues from boxes 2,4,5,6,8 (even the German whisper lines in box 2) and then close the renban loops in 1,3,7,9. This leads to a very limited selection on digits. I found the trouble was getting the other boxes to communicate with 1,3,7,9 without adding too many easy clues. Anyway, enjoy!
