- Es gelten die normalen Sudoku-Regeln.
- Killer-Käfige: Ziffern in einem Käfig ergeben in der Summe den oben links angegebenen Wert.
- Mehrdeutiges Battenburg: Markiere jede Zelle im Gitter mit einer von zwei verschiedenen Farben (z.B. rot und blau), sodass jede Ziffer immer in Zellen der gleichen Farbe vorkommt. (Ist z.B. eine 1 in einer roten Zelle, so müssen sich alle 1en in roten Zellen befinden.) In einem Killer-Käfig haben alle Zellen die gleiche Farbe (d.h. ein Käfig ist vollständig rot oder vollständig blau, besteht aber nicht aus roten und blauen Zellen). Wenn je 2 Ziffern beider Farben ein 2x2-Schachbrettmuster bilden, ist dies stets durch ein Battenburg-Symbol angezeigt. Ist kein solches Zeichen angegeben, darf das obige Muster nicht vorhanden sein.

I got stuck a couple of times during the coloring phase, but each time I eventually noticed that there was a way to continue. After coloring the whole grid, it was easy to finish. If you're trying to decide whether to attempt this puzzle, go for it. You'll enjoy solving this one!
