This puzzle is inspired by Knight Line and similar puzzles. I decided to extend the concept to use all the chess pieces. Thanks to Skunkworks for testing and especially to Chameleon for creating a PuzzleTV version of this puzzle.

Here are illustrations of the possible neighbors on a bishop (♗) and knight (♘) line. A 5 on a bishop (♗) line can connect to every other odd digit. 1 and 9 can also be next to each other on a bishop (♗) line since bishops (♗) can move multiple squares along a diagonal. A 2 on a bishop (♗) line can connect to 4 or 6. 5 can never be on a knight (♘) line and a knight (♘) always has exactly 2 possible neighbors on a line. A longer run for a knight (♘) line would be 1-8-3-4-9-2-7-6-1.
Lösungscode: Row 9 (9 digits)

Some surprising bits of logic in there I was not expecting to see. A few stubborn spots followed by a flurry of solving; if anyone hits a snag, stay persistent but maybe change your approach a little. Really fun! Glad to have managed to solve it.

Great puzzle. I disagree with those saying this is 3 - 4*. Felt like 1.5 - 2*. Nothing really tricky at all.

Absolutely brilliant puzzle! I would say 3-4 stars, too. Take a bow and thanks:)

At least for me it wasn't a beginner friendly 1-star puzzle, based on my completion time it woud more like a 3-4 star puzzle. Anyway, I enjoyed solving it, thanks for setting!
