Here's a puzzle that I cobbled together.
  • Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  • Along red lines, adjacent digits must have different odd/even parity.
  • Along each blue line, digits in each region must sum to the same total. If a line has multiple disconnected segments within a region, these segments are summed separately.
  • A digit a in circle counts the total number of even digits in surrounding cells; orthogonally and diagonally adjacent cells and the circle's cell.

This was the second of two puzzles I constructed for hellboydante in the CTC Discord 2023 Secret Santa. Having felt that the first puzzle was quite focussed on summing digits to make primes, I wanted to make a second puzzle that made a bit more use of parity, while sweeper clues allowed me explore some new ideas having not set with them before.
